The Montgomery Area Public Library has added another program to their ever-growing list of options with Baby Story Time. The program is designed to benefit infants from birth to eighteen months as well as their parents or caregivers. They, in turn, can help little ones develop early literacy and social skills, as well as giving adults some time to socialize with other adults caring for infants. Librarian Nicole Loffredo said that both babies and caregivers will explore music and movement through songs and nursery rhymes. It’s important for a child’s literacy development to hear their parent/caregiver’s voice through song and through story reading.”
During the month of October, Baby Story Time will be held on the 15th, 22nd, and the 29th at 10:30 a.m.
