Montgomery Locals Apr.24, 2019
The grand pening of Coles Coffee, Craft & Consignment was held on Saturday, April 20. This fun kick-off event lasted for six hours and many townspeople turned out to celebrate the occasion.
Store owner Shawn Marie Coles served free hot dogs and beverages, and children were treated to free crafts and face painting. Her husband Donny helped man the grill and their little son Daniel enjoyed chit-chatting with the guests. Sarah Frazier did the face painting and kids enjoyed a variety of choices.
In the last few months the store has added many new vendors and carries all kinds of handmade crafts, a line of soaps and beauty products made from goats milk, seasonal decorations, and large wooden cabinets and display case, among other things. The children’s play area has also recently added a large chalk board on the wall. Nice quality consignment items are added to the shop on a regular basis.
A contest was held to see who could guess the number of pastel M&Ms in an Easter-decorated jar. The winner was Alexandra Gerney with 456.
