Hughesville Locals May 1, 2019
While taking a walk around town, I realized that I would really like to see better sidewalks and more trees in Hughesville! It’s hard to enjoy walking when one has to watch every step, and I think we could benefit greatly from more shade and avian habitat. It’s all about making this a better place. What do you think?
A local family, the descendants of Neil and June Shaner, were recently surprised to learn that the mare they had purchased during the winter was carrying a bonus in the form of a foal! “Bo” (short for BOGO) safely entered the world and the hearts of all and will be a beloved feature of their family farm.
Spring’s usual flurry of school and community activities is upon us! There’s something for everyone in this week’s events.
