Montgomery Locals 1.29.2020

By Staff | Jan 29, 2020

If the winter doldrums are starting to get you down and you find yourself wishing for something fun to do, be sure to mark your calendars for “The Lion King Jr.” production on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. This is a new type of endeavor for the Montgomery Area School District that involves students from all grades making the show come to life.

Personally, I think our town is very blessed to have such a wonderfully active arts program at the school. Those of us who are out of school get to enjoy great entertainment throughout the year, and students benefit from learning artistic and creative skills which lead to self-confidence, discipline, and work ethic.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.shoxtix4u.com; any seats that aren’t presold online will be available at the door. Seats are selling fast so my advice is to get online as soon as possible and buy your tickets ahead.
