Muncy locals 2.5.2020
Muncy resident and teacher Shawn McCahan recently organized a donation rally for the Lycoming County United Way organization, tapping school district staff employees to donate $5 every week in January in exchange for one “dress down day” per week. For every donation received came the opportunity to win a pair of NFL football tickets to a home game of the Philadelphia Eagles next season. School district superintendent Dr. Craig Skaluba donated the tickets in an effort to accelerate donations. According to Shawn, $1,121 was tallied for the United Way while math teacher Sharon Wagner won the NFL tickets. Thanks Shawn, Dr. Skaluba and everyone who helped the United way help our residents!
