Muncy Locals 3.25.2020

By Staff | Mar 25, 2020

Before Spring officially “sprung” last week, full crocus beds, daffodils, forsythia and other early-season flowers are brightening landscapes. Their presence begs for our attention, so make it a point to get outside (while remaining six feet apart from others, darn you, COVID-19!).

Social distancing does not mean social isolation, and the outdoors is a perfect remedy to combat cabin fever, call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while, and reconnect. Be kind when interacting with others at the businesses that remain open, and if you’re able, purchase gift certificates from those who had to temporarily close their doors. Donate blood, if possible. Limit screen viewing time so as not to become overwhelmed by information; but, in the same vein, do stay informed, by visiting our Facebook page and website for daily updates.

Most of all, stay well!
