One of my favorite movies is “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” based on a true story about a troubled newspaper journalist and his encounter with Fred Rogers. On May 22, Pennsylvania will be celebrating the second annual 1-4-3 Day in PA in honor of Mr. Rogers. Rogers regularly used “143” as his special code for “I Love You” – based on the number of letters in each word. The movement is a call to all Pennsylvanians to show kindness to essential workers and neighbors in honor of Fred Rogers.
