Fae Herb would like to honor and acknowledge of all of Montgomery’s veterans with a video collage of their photos and names. She is requesting that everyone who is a veteran or has a veteran in their family to please send her a copy of their photographs and names to her email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through a Facebook message. She is requesting that all materials be given to her by Thursday, November 5. The video collage will be presented as a window display at the Adam Room Museum. While the Montgomery Area Historical Society is not having any events through the rest of the year, the video collage will serve as a tribute to honor the town’s veterans for Veteran’s Day.In addition to this new project, Fae has volunteered her time for many years to acknowledge Montgomery’s veterans. She runs the Hometown Hero Banner project and she has spent many hours going through the library’s World War II-era newspapers to post letters from servicemen to the Montgomery, PA News and Views Facebook page.Thank you, Fae, for your efforts to honor Montgomery’s heroes!
