MHS Students Qualify forFBLA Competition
The following FBLA members at Muncy High School placed at the Region 7 Conference at Penn College on Tuesday, Jan. 7, and have qualified to compete at the State Conference in Hershey in April.
First place: Senior Cael Hembury, Business Calculations, Lillian Huff, Insurance & Risk Mnagement. The following juniors earning first place include Emma Hogan, Breanna King, and Rory Oden, representing the Business Ethics team; Angelina LaRose, Computer Problem Solving;Alana McCullen, Insurance & Risk Management. Also earning first place were teammates sophomore Abigail Groover and freshman Alexa Rice, for Intro to Business Presentation.
Placing second was senior Collin Smith, in the Help Desk event; Maddey Brelsford in Orgainzational Leadership; sophomores Kaleb Meyer fo Intro to Business Communication; Willow Perakovich for Intro to Public Speaking.
Placing third in the Journalism event was senior NiKaya DeWald and Logan Rakestraw for Organizational Leadership. Fourth place was Ernie Coppes, for Spreadsheet Applications.
Fifth place were seniors Schyler Keller, Business Communication; Aleaha Bigelow, Economics; Sacha Alvarez, Insurance & Risk Management. Two sophomores also placed fifth: Chase Crawley and Alex Maiorana for Marketing.
Seniors Tanner Gold earned sixth place for Business Law while Christian Good helped sophomore Bailey Hadzinikolov and freshman Branson Eyer in the Sports & Entertainment Management team.
FBLA advisors are Heather Zimmerman and Jason Gresh.
