Quilt Guild announces winners
PENNSDALE – The following listings in the appropriate categories were selected by ‘Viewers Choice’ as winners at the bi-annual quilt show by members of the Susquehanna Valley Quilt Guild. The event was held from Feb. 28 to March 2 in the social hall of the Hughesville Area Fire Company.

Raffle Quilt winner was Suzanne Fahian, Montoursvillen and Nancy Lewis of Pleasant Mount, PA won the Bernina Sewing Machine donated by Hoover’s of Mifflinburg.
The next meeting for the Susquehanna Valley Quilt Guild will be held Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Pennsdale United Methodist Church, 658 Village Road, Pennsdale.
The program will feature a summary and recap of the Quilt Show. All show winners will be recognized, and the quilt show Committee would like the winners to bring their quilts to the meeting for photographs.
The April meeting will be held on Friday, April 25 with Gyleen Fitzgerald presenting a lecture and trunk show entitled “Make Mine with Scraps”. Members can sign up for Gyleen’s workshop to be held on Saturday, April 26th, “Trash to Treasure Pineapples”. A fee will be charged for the workshop. Members can sign up at the March meeting or contact Shelly Curry at 570-924-4223.
