The 7th annual dinner and charity event was held Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Hughesville Social Fire Hall where close to 7 thousand dollars was raised for the Messiah Lutheran Church in Clarkstown and the St. James Lutheran Church in Muncy. Joanie Yagel is holding some holiday items that were auctioned off along with a queen size quilt made by the Messiah Quilters. Half of the proceeds will also go to the local food banks and to fight world hunger. The event was sponsored by the Evangelism Committee of the Parish.
