George A. Ferrell Elementary School named their 2015 “Boy and Girl of the Year”. The two sixth grade students are (above) Matthias Noble, son of John and Carrie Noble, and Chylee Stroup, daughter of Eric and Erica Stroup. Following the parade in Picture Rocks, the students participated in the Memorial Day service held at the cemetery. Noble recited Lincoln’s “Gettysburg Address”, and Stroup recited John McCrae’s First World War poem, “In Flanders Fields”.
