Local woman turns 90

Beverly “Bo” Trivelpiece celebrated her 90th birthday on May 22. Beverly was surprised at a birthday party held at her daughter’s home in Milton. There were more than 40 friends and family present to help her celebrate, including her brother, Paul Reese of Hibbs, PA.

She was born on May 22,1925, to Amos Reese and Lucy Bartlow Reese. They lived in the

Williamsport area and then moved to Mechanic St. in Muncy. Beverly was married to Larue

“Bing” Trivelpiece. Bo and Bing lived and farmed in the Muncy area before moving to the

Milton area where they farmed for about 50 years. They had celebrated 64 years of

marriage on December 24, 2006. He passed away in June 2007.

Beverly is retired from the Milton Shoe Factory. They have three children, Donzella

Engelman, Larue Trivelpiece, Jr. and Lily Trivelpiece. Beverly currently resides in Milton with

her daughter, Lily.
