According to veteran Robert Miller, who is a regular passenger on the van since 2014, the service was still available during the closing.

However, a new plaque was issued to honor the new staff and personnel for their support and service for the veterans. The van is available for pick up at the store every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning at 8:20 a.m. To be registered to ride on the van, a call to the Veteran’s Assistance Office at 570-327-5281 in Williamsport is required to determine eligibility and appointments.
