Married: At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Poust, on East Penn street, on Wednesday afternoon, Miss Tillie Flack, of Lairdsville and Edward Renn, of Jordan Township.
William Madison and mother, of Moreland, in the spring will move into the house formerly owned by Andy Maurer, on Green Street.
Mrs. John Quinn, while walking in front of the resident of Mrs. Drusilla Hower, Sunday morning, slipped and fell, breaking her right arm.
G.B. M. Frey will move his family to his farm in Clinton township in the spring.

Thomas Wood has received word he passed a very successful examination before the Board of State Law examiners. He is a son of William J. Wood, of Prospect Hill.
Born: To Mr. and Mrs. Grover Frey, on Thursday last, a daughter. To Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lenvy, Thursday last, a daughter. To MR. and MRs. Frank Bussler on Friday, a daughter. To Mr. and Mrs. Frank Egli, on Saturday, a son.
Marriages: Benjamin Anderson and Miss Mary Fetterman, both of town were united in marriage last Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Funston Hill, at Newberry. Edna May Buck and William R. Kolchner, both of Muncy were united in marriage at the Pine Street Methodist Church in Williamsport, last Monday.
Harold, the young son of STephen Soars slipped on an icy pavement recently and in attempting to save himself struck a wall with his right arm with such force that the bone was badly fractured.
Last week George Frontz purchased the plant of the Hughesville Mail, and will hereafter conduct that publication.

Lloyd, 80, veteran newspaper man, dean of Lycoming County historians, former lawyer, died at the Williamsport Hospital Saturday morning at 2:45 o’clock; Mrs. Elizabeth Shoemaker, widow of Harry Shoemaker, former residents of Pennsdale, died Monday, Jan. 27th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Hatton, with whom she made her home at Newtown Square, Pa.; Phineas Houseknecht, aged 2, died Monday at his home near Lairdsville.

A proposed merger of the Muncy and Clarkstown Methodist church congregations, with the probability that a new edifice will be built somewhere east of Muncy, will be discussed by representative groups of both churches at a meeting next Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith left Muncy on Tuesday to take up new duties at the Methodist Home for Children in Mechanicsburg.
Production of components for high-precision weapons locating radar equipment for the U.S. Army Signal Corps will begin Feb. 1 at the Muncy plant of the computer products operations of Sylvania Electric Products Inc., Orville H. Jensen, operations manager has announced.
