Married: By A.W. Gibson at his home in Muncy, February 18, George W. Karschner, of Hughesville, and Miss Jennie A. Biddle, of Clarkstown; Miss Bertha Merrill was tendered a very enjoyable birthday surprise party last Wednesday evening in honor of her 20th birthday anniversary.
Two solid loads of pleasure seekers drove to Pennsdale and surprised Mrs. Daniel Egly on Wednesday. It was a perfect surprise, the evening was pleasantly spent and an excellent supper was served.

Married: Miss Mabel B. Clark and Edwin C. Bubb were married last Wednesday afternoon at the parsonage of the First Baptist church in Harrisburg.
Charles Anderson, the noted all around musician and member of Grange’s Orchestra, died at the Williamsport Hospital this morning where he had been taken for treatment.
Augustus Hess, the barber, who some weeks ago fell down the steps at his home, injuring his chest, did not feel the effects of his fall until the present, when a severe cold has set in, laying him up for some time.

The Muncy Luminary this week began to move its machinery and equipment from the building it has occupied for the past 94 years or 95 years to the store room in the P.O.S. of A. building on West Water street. formerly occupied by the E.V. Barnes Shoe Store.
Obits: Mrs. Emma Poust, widow of the late Amos Poust, died Wednesday morning at her home on Green street, aged 73 years, 7 months and 12 days; Raymond M. Erdley, aged 47 years, died at the office of a local physician at 11 o’clock Friday shortly after he was taken suddenly ill while working on the WPA project oat the State Industrial Home.

The Keystone Hook and Ladder Company firefighters saved the life of a family pet on Feb. 26. The fire was located off Kepner Hill Road in Muncy Creek Township.
