Sept. 11, 1902

The following citizens of Muncy have been drawn as jurors to serve during the two weeks of civil court beginning October 6: Frank Egli, John A Heberling, Lewis Artley, Warren Hoffman, Wyoming Watts.

A pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Hartranft, in East Muncy, Saturday evening, when their daughter, Miss Lolo was united in marriage to rank Wilson,. The ceremony being performed by Rev. W. F. Steck, pastor of the Lutheran Church.

Misses Julia Brenisen and Rebecca Banzhaf left on Wednesday morning for Martinsburg W. Va., where they will visit the former’s brother, Harvey Brenisen and family

Sept. 14, 1911

Walter Schoch, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Schoch, has gone to West Grove, where he as a position in the office of the Root Dairy Supply company’s plant.

Jacob Fer and wife, Joseph Lappan and wife, of Hughesville, and Harris Claster, of Lock Haven, autoed to Muncy in the latter’s car and spent Sunday with Heyman Herr and family.

Died: Mrs. Edythe M. Christman, died in a hospital at Lynn, Mass, on Aug. 31; Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, 85, died Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter; Mrs. Samuel Bartlow, Hughesville, died very suddenly on Monday morning, Sept. 7.

After two years of planning and applying for grants, new playground equipment will soon be installed at Lions Park in Muncy.

Myers elementary school principal, Dr. Portia Brandt, greets new students on the first day of the new school year last Monday.

The 1928 Case tractor was deemed the oldest in the feature category at the East Lycoming Farm and Heritage show last weekend at the fairgrounds in Hughesville owned by Jim Muffly and driven by his grandson Matt Sebring, both of Muncy.

Robyn Styer, daughter of Sam and Cathy Styer of Montgomery, became the bride of Dr. Jarod R. Schreiber on July 7.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob and Barbara Banzhof celebrate 45 years of marriage on Sept. 1.

Births: Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hembury of Muncy, a son, on Aug. 25; Mr. and Mrs. Stephen J. Kustanbauter of Hughesville, a son, Aug. 15.
