Grover Reeder, quite a popular baseball player, has signed with the Altoona team for the coming season, and will leave here on the 10th, to join them in that city.
The Charles tennis club will hold their annual Spring dance Mozely’s Opera House on April 15. The committee being Misses Helen Peterman, Helen Goodenow, Mary Brittain, Martha Brittain, Margaret Noble and Esther Noble.
W.C. Mozley’s smile is very broad, his wife having presented him with a bouncing baby boy.

A pretty wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willis, near Lairdsville, when their daughter, Miss Mattie, was married to Harry L. Swartz, of this place.
Mrs. S.D. Heller and Miss Mabel Heller attended the Wolfinger Heller nuptials at Milton on last Wednesday.
A pleasant surprise party was given John Colley, Tuesday evening at his home in East Muncy, in honor of his sixteenth birthday anniversary.
Mrs. Cynthia Sprout, widow of the late Edgar Sprout, purchased the property of Simon Sheridan on Sherman street.

Miss Myrtle Kahler was united in marriage Saturday afternoon to Robert L. Stamets.
J. T. Akers has terminated his lease at Jake’s Restaurant and has moved to Jiggs and Jerry’s on the road north of town where he will operate a gas station and lunch stand.
William Drick, of Muncy, has lost a herd of 27 cattle in the past few weeks, as the result of bovine T. B. tests by inspectors from the Bureau of Animal Industry.
Raymond Shook, R.D. mail carrier form the Muncy post office is seriously considering the possibility of having rubber fenders made for the front of his car. It seems that Raymond’s car has been the target for many drivers, recently and it keeps him busy hammering out dents.
Died: Sarah J. Stadden, aged 60, died quite suddenly this morning at her home; Annie E. Taylor, died at the Williamsport Hospital Tuesday afternoon; Edward K. Clark, aged 65, died at his home on West Penn street Sunday morning; J. Warner Hall aged 72, a native of the Pennsdale section, died at his home in Scranton Friday evening; Mrs. John Egey, 45, who before her marriage was Miss Esther Gauger, formerly of this place, died Wednesday of last week at her home in Pittsburgh.

Lundy Lumber company’s Muncy yard was “open for business as usual” on Tuesday morning, but only after most of the plant’s facilities were saved during a spectacular $35,000 fire which broke out early Monday evening.

Former Hughesville state champion wrestlers, Jeff Gray and Greg Sullivan, were inducted into District 4 Hall of Fame at the District 4 wrestling tournaments held in Williamsport.
The taste will be worth the wait when the maple sap cooks into syrup, a tradition at Pat Shull of Muncy, is teaching his son JOhn Patrick.
Switch-Around Day was observed at Muncy High School on Monday. Student council member Pamela Montayne organized and scheduled the event in which 10 seniors participated under the supervision of advisor Chris Vicars. Lesha Bigelow assumed the teaching position in Shawn McCahan’s senior English class.
“Once A Upon a Mattress” will be presented this Friday and Saturday at Muncy High School auditorium.
