Larow’s Glass Blowers opened their grand exhibition last evening in the Opera House Block.
The young lady and gentlemen friends of Miss Jennie Albright, in view of her approach marriage to Prof. Harris Spotts, in June surprised her Tuesday evening with a kitchen shower, she being the recipient of many useful kitchen utensils.
The steering gear on Dr. J.R. Rankin’s automobile became disarranged Wednesday afternoon and the car ran on the walk at the H.C. Levan’s, knocking down a small tree.
A.B. Worthington left last week for Lead City, S.D. in the interests of the Pennsylvania Gold Mining and Milling Company.

Miss Ethel Snyder, who for the past few years has been the stenographer at the Mifflinburg Buggy Company, has resigned her position to accept a similar good one elsewhere.
Frederick R. Hoffman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren B. Hoffman, all graduate from Pennsylvania State College on June 6th.
The members of the Col. John D. Musser Post and John Waldron Camp, Sons of Veterans, attended a divine service at the Lutheran Church, Sunday evening.

Beverly Barnes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl V. Barnes, was chosen “Miss Muncy” Tuesday evening in the beauty pageant conducted at the Ritz Theater by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Edward J. Smith Post No. 3428.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Spurgreen Moore, of East Penn Street, on Friday morning, May 20th, a son.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Koch, of Muncy R.D., on Friday morning May 20th, a son.
Mr. and Mrs. William Confer of Muncy R.D. 1 have announced the marriage of their daughter, Alice Mae, to Russell Albert DeWire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward DeWire of Hughesville. The marriage took place May 23 in Hagerstown, Md.
Announcement is made of a new feed store opening in Muncy, a branch of the R.S. Altman Mills of Irwin, Pa.

Headline-Sprout-Waldron Purchases Reeder Property on Penn St.
The West Branch Bell Telephone company has broken ground for a $20,000 addition to its dial building in Montgomery that is expected to not only more adequately serve its own requirements for service, but will help to dress up the community’s Main street.
Carl Bieber, of Muncy, a midwinter 1963 graduate of Bloomsburg State college, has accepted a teaching position in the Warrior Run high school for the coming term.
“The History of the Dance” will be the theme for this year’s May Day at Muncy High School.
The engagement was announced of Miss Carol Lee Fetter of Muncy to Charles Banta of Drexel Hill.
Leonard Haag was elected President of Hughesville Merchants Bureau.
