Kramer McDaniel and Jacob Artley have returned home from a visit to the World’s FAir at St. Louis. They report a pleasant time.
Miss Edna Downing and guest, Miss Stoner, have returned to Bucknell, after a weeks visit to the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Downing.

Mr. and Mrs. John P. Michael and children, of Clarkstown, entertained at a family dinner on Thanksgiving. The following were present: Mr.and Mrs. Beeber Michael and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Michael and Prof. and Mrs. Oscar Reuther and family, all of Muncy.
The members of the Muncy borough school bard met at the school building Monday evening and organized for the coming year by the election of William Ritter, president, and John DeWald, vice-president.
The cabin of E. Clyde Brobst, on the banks of the Susquehanna River, took fire at 6:15 o’clock on Monday night and was burned to the ground, causing a loss of about $1,000.

Twenty more shopping days until Christmas. To the person who has not been planning their Christmas shopping, those are startling words, words to make one look around a bit and see what there is to be had.
Some four or five hundred residents of Muncy and vicinity will be well provided with Christmas shopping funds after today, when the two local banking institutions send out the checks for the Christmas Savings Accounts.
Died: Mrs. Edith S. Albright, aged 69 years, died at the home of her daughter, Thursday night, after a lingering illness; Alonzo J. Elwell, aged 69, died in the Lycoming County Home on Thursday morning, after a series of paralytic strokes; Mrs. Julia A. Sprout Schmoyer, died at her home, Williamsport, Nov. 3, following a heart attack; William G. Fry, 71, Williamsport, a former resident of mUncy, died Sunday morning, following a two year period of ill health.

The first fatal traffic accident in the Muncy area in many months occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday when Alvin (A.C.) Barnes, 55, was killed instantly when struck by an automobile while walking along the high just north of the Muncy borough limits.
A new driver education training car for Muncy high school has been presented by Murray Motors, local Ford-Mercury dealer.
Miss Jean Gardner, who recently returned home after being employed by the government in Hawaii for two years, left Sunday for Washington, D.C. where she is now assigned.
The James Bahr family has returned to Muncy after several years in New England ad have purchased the former J.C. Thomas property on West Penn street from Muncy Bank and Trust Company.
Wilbert Thomas was elected first president of the newly organized Hughesville chapter of Junior Chamber of Commerce when the group held its first meeting last week.
Three former Muncy gridmen, Tackle Tom Springman, fullback-quarterback Denny Warg, and end Steve Musser, were members of the Lycoming College squad that recently completed its 1963 season.

Up, up, and away! Elaine K. Smith Johnson, of Muncy, and Robert J. Hacker, of Williamsport, exchanged wedding vows at Kiess Park on Oct. 15, hopped into a hot air balloon and were whisked away into the sunset.
The renovated football stadium at Muncy High School will be formally dedicated on Friday night to the memory of Stanley T. Schuyler, who was a teacher, coach and athletic director for the district.
Heather Rusczyk, senior, was chosen as Muncy’s 1988 Homecoming Queen and Shaun Musser, junior, was elected Homecoming Princess.
Christine Toshi Johnson, Muncy, became the bride of Timothy Wayne Kyle, of Milton, Oct. 16.

The Montgomery Borough Council passed two ordinances making the new curfew and the skateboard ban on part of Main Street official at its meeting last week.
Hughesville High School students volunteered to paint the store fronts of downtown Hughesville with fall scenery.
This October, while the area is observing the 25th anniversary of the Lycoming Mall’s arrival to Muncy, Carole Smith, mall manager, also celebrates the quarter-century club.
Jennifer Fritz, a Hughesville High School senior, was named the 2003 Miss Flaming Foliage.
