The Muncy Luminary
Thursday, Feb. 9, 1905
Howard M. Elmer, son of Mrs. George Elmer of Green Street, was shot and fatally wounded at New Kensington, Pa., Sunday morning by James C. Kennedy. The body was shipped to Muncy and interred in Muncy cemetery.
A sleighing party composed of a number of young people of this place, drove to the home of Stanley Metzger, at Montgomery, on Friday evening and had a most enjoyable time.

Thursday, Feb. 5, 1914
Frank Fahnestock and James Banghart have purchased the Mozley Opera House from H.P. Wolfe. Same Sincere is the manager temporarily.
Mrs. H.W. Stevenson met with a painful injury Friday afternoon. While she was trying to open a fruit jar it broke and the glass penetrated her right wrist, severing an artery. Dr. T. K. Wood dressed the wound.

While working at the plant of Sprout, Waldron Company, Raymond Confer, of West Penn St., accidently ran a screwdriver deep into his eyeball on Monday.
Walter (Baldy) Bartlow, 30, and Oscar Murphy, 30, both of Montgomery, were arrested in Williamsport last Thursday night, charged with the holdup and robbery of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hill last Wednesday night.

Wendy Sue is the named given to the daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mills.
