Miss Fannie Hamlin, the well known lecturer, will hereafter make her home in mUncy.
Married-On Thursday, March 28, at the residence of the bride’s mother, near Muncy, R. Edler of Williamsport to Miss Fannie M. Soars.
R.W. Lebo, with his steamboat, is busily engaged in towing logs for D. Capp & Co.
MIss Julia ross, principal of the Muncy Seminary, will leave in a few weeks for Asbury Park, N.J., where she will establish a girls’ school.

Died-At the home of her son, Frank A. Woodward, in East Muncy, March 26th, Mrs. Hannah Woodward, aged 79 years.
H. Stelwagon, proprietor of the Quaker City Stained Glass works, has presented the Lutheran church with a transom for over the front door.
Gilbert and Sullivan’s famous opera, “The Mikado,” was sung here three times during the last week. The boys have been talking ever since of Ko-Ko and Yum-Yum.
The front of the Muncy Valley House, of which D.W. Yothers is popular host, has been improved by putting in handsome windows, with two panes to each window, on the first floor.

Died: William T. McCarty, aged 83 years, of Glade Run, died Tuesday night; Hon. Elias Deemer, died at his home in Williamsport last Friday evening, aged 80 years.

The banks of Lycoming County have subscribed a substantial fund to be divided into prizes for purpose of stimulating boys’ and girls’ agricultural club work.
Cigarette books, book covers, and papers invoiced at the American consulate at Nantes, France, for the United States during 1917 were valued at nearly $1,000,000.
