Mr. and Mrs. Chester Houseknecht have returned home from their wedding trip and were treated to an old-fashioned serenade at the home of Mrs. Houseknecht’s parents.
Married: On Saturday evening Eugene Renn and Miss Helen Fahnestock were married at St. James’ rectory.
Rev. J. Rollin Ebner and family are moving from Muncy Station to the Soars property on Muncy R.D. 4.
The Muncy Red Sox won from the East Muncy Tigersin a game of baseball on Saturday.
Died: Mrs. Catherine Kober Becht, 78, died at the home of her sister in Montoursville, Wednesday evening; Mary C. Stanley, 69,native of Hughesville, died March 1.

Married: A pretty wedding was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Godrey Kuntz, on North Market street, Sunday afternoon when their daughter, Helen Rebecca was united in marriage to Mr. Frederic Paul Pursell of Scranton.
Miss Bessie Sprout, who is a teacher in the schools at Marcus Hook, Pa., spent several days this week with her mother, Mrs. Philip Sprout.
Miss Flossie E. Anstadt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Anstadt, and Clyde W. Brass, son of Mrs. O. C. Brass were united in marriage on Saturday.
Born: To Dr. and Mrs. H.D. Swengel, West Penn Street, on Monday, a daughter, weighing 7 pounds. The little Miss has not yet been named.
Died: Harry Koons died at his home on South Market Street, Sunday morning, after a ten days illness with pneumonia, aged 60 years; Deborah Dentler, of Clarkstown, aged 71 years, died Monday morning; Mrs. Selecta Beeber, died at her home in Montgomery.
