Married-On March 3, at the house of the bride, Charles W. Funkey, of Indian Falls, N.Y. , to Miss Sallie J. Hitesman, of Muncy.
Died-In Muncy Creek township, March 6, Sarah I. Maurer, aged 21 years; In Muncy Creek Township, on March 8, Mardula A. Barnnickell, aged 43 years.
J. Philip Opp was thrown from his sleigh one evening last week and dragged quite a distance, being severely bruised.
Miss Cleveland, who is now Lady of the White House, was formerly a resident of Muncy, having been associated with Miss Ross as principal of the M Muncy Seminary.

Ransel B., son of W.B. Smith, aged ten years, a pupil in the schools of this place, is considered a prodigy in geography.
Died-In Muncy Creek township, on the 14th inst., Hannah, wife of Robert Barr, aged 64 years, 7 months and 17 days.
Nelson Bruner, of Reading, will return to Muncy to reside.

People of Muncy will have an opportunity to see another comet, according to Dr. William R. Brooks.

Harry W. Angle, of this place, and Miss Mabel C. Hall, of near Picture Rocks, were united in marriage last Wednesday evening at the home of the bride’s parents.
Died: Dr. Ralph Hollopeter, formerly of this place died on Monday, March 12, after a week’s illness of pneumonia.
