The Subscription list for the Brady Monument Fund has reached a total of $823.77.
Died-In Muncy township,June 6, Michael Good, aged 77 years.
Elisha Yonkin and E.P. Hall accompanied a Williamsport excursion to Virginia this week.
Recent improvement are a new awning and iron posts in front of Capt. Lloyd’s new awning in front of Mrs. Funk’s place of business and a new pavement in front of Reuben Fiester’s residence.

Rissel & Smith’s saw mill started on Monday.
There are 52 soldiers buried in the Muncy cemetery.
R.B. Montgomery’s novelty works at Muncy Station was totally destroyed by fire last Friday night. He manufactured children’s carriages, toy express wagons, etc.
Married-In Muncy borough Tuesday, May 26, by Rev. Jacob Miller Andrew Werling and Mrs. Louisa Rieger.

On June 2, Clarence H. Hall, Muncy, and Miss Lillian E. Tripp,of Renovo were united in marriage.
Manager Schoch of the opera house has booked Annette Kellermann in the great film spectacle, “Neptune’s Daughter,” for an early showing. It is in nine thrilling reels.
In the county league, Saturday, Montoursville defeated the locals on the Muncy grounds in an excited ten-inning contest.
Died: Emma Grace McBride, died at her home on West Penn street this morning, aged 39 years; Emma Collins, South Williamsport, died Monday. She was aged sixty-six years.

An historic event took place Monday afternoon, May 25, when mail messenger William Bastian loaded a sack of mail on Pennsylvania Railroad train 570 southbound for Harrisburg. It was the last dispatch of mail by train from the Muncy Post Office, thus ending a service that had existed as long as the railroads,w and which now apparently will not be restored despite the fate of Trains 570 and 571.
Harry (Skip) Stackhouse, Jr., of near Muncy, was wounded recently in Viet Nam when he stepped on a mine.
Engagement announced of Miss Mary Wood to Michael LaSalle Cornog, of Winnetka, Ill.
Mrs. Raymond Thomas, was elected president of Muncy Valley Hospital Auxiliary when the group met May 15.
Award for the American Legion Auxiliary essay contest was presented Friday afternoon to Mary Ella Montague, first prize winner.
