Married-On Wednesday, the 11th inst., R. F. Cornelison, Muncy Creek township, and Miss Sallie, daughter of Philip Heilman, of this borough.
The borough authorities have passed an ordinance to pave the western side of Market street from penn to High streets.
During a test of the speed of a colt at the Muncy Driving Park,Saturday, the animal became frightened and threw his driver and owner,m George D. Keller, of eat Mucy, from the buggy into a corn field adjoining the track. He had a fearful fall but escaped injury.
The Watsontown Silver Cornet band, Joseph Housel, leader, accompanied by a number of citizens, of that place, gave our town a visit Thursday evening. The Muncy band came out and escorted them to their boat when ready to leave for home.
Died-In this borough, on the 20th inst., George W. Rooker, aged 50 years.

The Rev. A. Dean entered upon the pastorate of the Mucy Presbyterian church last Sunday.
Ed Willits and H.N. Shell came up from Philadelphia last week on their annual camping trip.
The formal opening of Eagles Mere takes place today.
Muncy market prices: potatoes, 30 cents bushel; wheat, 95 cents bushel; lard,10 cents pound.
Died: In Clinton township, July 15, Mrs. Mary Mensch, widow of the late Peter Mensch, aged 93 years.

Three Houses in Muncy Struck by Lightening-Severe Storm Passes Over This Section Yesterday Afternoon
Dispatches from Washington late last nigh reported that the drawing for the draft would be made some time during Friday.
Died: Mrs. Rebecca Ellis Reeder, died very suddenly Sunday evening of hear failure a her home; S.D. Townsend, president of the Williamsport & North Branch Railroad, died at his home in Hughesville last Thursday night; Benjamin S. Adams died at the home of his son, near Muncy, Sunday morning, aged 75 years; Jason VanBuskirk died at his home in Williamsport Sunday morning, aged seventy-four years.
