Butter is selling in the Muncy markets at 20 cents per pound.
The watch shop of L. Garman was entered by burglars last Tuesday night and $75 worth of watches and jewelry was stolen.
The Muncy Cornet Band visited Montoursville on Wednesday evening.
The Baptist congregation will use a room in the school building for church and Sunday school purposes while their edifice is repaired.
The new residence of J. Philip Opp in Muncy Creek township is rapidly nearing completion. The work was done by Joseph Teufel. The roof is of iron.

Died-In Muncy borough, Oct. 22, Bruce, son of E.B. Hall, aged 9 years.
The Rev. A. Dean will be installed pastor of the Muncy Presbyterian church on Tuesday evening.
There are 170 men at work on the upper and of the W & N B R R and they average ten rods a day. The road is now completed within a few miles of Laporte.

Died: Jacob F. Corson died Tuesday night at his home near Glen Mawr, at the age of eighty-eight years.
