Opp & Gudykunst, merchants at Muncy Mills, have dissolved partnership, and the business will be continued by Mr. Gudykunst.
Harry, son of B.F. Funk, of this place was thrown from a buggy near Fulmer’s church with severe injury to his head.
Trains from Philadelphia & Reading railroad now leave Muncy for Williamsport as follows: 8:42 a.m., 12:26 and 5:33 p.m.

Price Two Cents
All bakers are now required to purchased their flour on the basis of seventy-five pounds of wheat flour to twenty-five pounds of wheat flour to twenty-five pounds of prescribed maker’s substitutes in order to conform to the provisions of the baking regulations.
The Fourth of July will be celebrated without fireworks this year. The output of every fireworks factory in the United States has been purchased by the War department and will be used in supplying the army with flares and signal lights.
Died: Florence Bryan Dykins, a former resident of Muncy, died on Sunday aged 68 years; Margaret Wagner, Williamsport, died Monday evening. She was twenty-one years of age; John Douty, Montoursville, died Thursday, aged 69 years.
Pvt. Boyd Eddy stationed at Fort Waldsworth, NY, spend a two-day leave with father and family, E. B. Eddy of Picture Rocks.
Robert Lee, son of Cecil Lee, reported in a hospital in France.
Lillian Kilgus arrived in France according to the Red Cross.
Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Bridge entertained members of their Sunday Class and friends at a Victrola Party Friday evening.
W. A. Ball has a force of men building an addition to the trotting stables at the fair grounds where horses will train on local track this summer.
J. O. Coleman was elected President of the Central Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association at a meeting at the Sunbury Hotel.

Representing the United Methodist Church of Muncy, Robert Rinn and Donald Dim, Muncy, were present at the meeting of Muncy Borough Council presenting an offer on the Methodist property in Muncy to the borough.
Everything was in readiness this week for Muncy’s hosting of the annual convention of the Pennsylvania Bandmaster Association on May 11 and 12.
