Married on the 10th inst., at the Parsonage, Lairdsville, Peter Smith of Moreland tsp. and Miss Mary Ellen Neufer of Penn tsp.
Died near the Borough on the 16th inst., at the residence of his father, Frederick Gossner, Mr. Oliver M. Gossner, aged 25 years, 1 month and 27 days.
In pursuance of previous notice a large and enthusiastic meeting of the citizen of Muncy and vicinity convented at the Central School House in this Borough, on Tuesday evening, Jan 12th for the purpose of considering the project of building a Boom at this place.

Joseph P. Sheridan, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.Joseph P. Sheridan died a the Williamsport Hospital Saturday morning.
The county board of viewers met recently elected Robert K. Reeder, President.
The new Muncy Valley Hospital ambulance has already provided itself of great service to the community having answered a number of calls and given prompt and efficient service.
The funeral of Wilson Zarr was held at his home in Muncy Creek tsp. on Sunday afternoon.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Reuther on Sunday morning, a daughter.

Muncy Downs Watsontown to Tie Basketball League
Funeral services were held from the Wallis Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon for Charles Munsell, 68, who died on Montgomery R.D. 1 January 17.
Died: Charles Robert Worthington aged 51, who died at his home in Clarkstown January 14.
William Wood, son of MR. and MRs. Thomas Wood of Shuttle Hill has been commissioned Lt. (jg) in the U.S. Navy and will report to Washington today.
Died Miss Hannah A. Tallman, 88, formerly of Muncy, January 13.
Word has been received here of the death of MRs. Rebekah A. Ecroyd widow of Dr. Henry S. Ecroyd, formerly of Muncy.
Mrs. Emma Marscey, former resident of this section died at the home of her daughter in Union City, Conn.
