Married-At McEwensville on the 26th ult., by the REv. S.S. Sheddan, Mr. Samuel B. Reed, to Miss Nancy Hullihen.
Died-On the 26th Ult., in Muncy township, Miss Elizabeth Warner, aged 30 years.
Died in this Borough Wednesday evening the 6th inst. Harriet, daughter of Mr. Jacob Pott, in the 5th year of her age.

We learn they have a velocipede at Hughesville. It was manufactured by some of the workmen at the machine shop of RM. J. Kelly, and runs rapidly when properly managed.
Died-In this Borough, the 28th ult., Carrie, daughter of Reuben Ely, aged 2 years and 34 months.
Died in this Borough on the 5th ult inst., Mr. Samuel Whipple, age 73 years and 9 months.
Colonel L.Kurtz died at his home on West Penn Street Sunday night. He had been in failing health for some time but was confined to his bed only a few days.
Mr. and MRs. Harry Funston announced the marriage of their daughter, Mary Allen, to John Bohm, March 8.
No deaths were reported from smallpox in Pennsylvania during the year 1923, according to the chief of the bureau of vital statistics.

George William Bower, aged 33, of Pennsdale, died suddenly Thursday morning March 2 while engaged in helping a neighbor load a truck load of baled hay at a farm in Mill Creek Township.
Marriage announced of Miss Edith Bunch, of North Carolina, to Sgt. James P. Drick, of the U.S. Marine Corps, of Muncy R.D. 2, on Jan. 29.
Funeral services were held at the Wallis Funeral Home Thursday morning for W.F. Brittain, 82, of East Penn Street, Muncy, who died March 5.
The marriage has been announced of Miss Harriet Victoria Snyder, of North Main Street, to Ensign Harold F. Richards, of Upper Darby, on Feb. 24.
Hughesville-Mrs. Frances I. Crooks, aged 91, died at the home of her daughter.
Opp-Mr. and Mrs. Arch Rider were shoppers at Hughesville and Muncy last Friday.
Sgt. John Ritter is spending a 22-day furlough with his parents, MR. and MRs. R.K. Ritter.
Sgt. Harold Sones of Air Base, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is spending a furlough with NR. and MRs. Alfred M. Gardner.
Clarkstown-Ernest Shetler and family have moved from Clarkstown to a farm of Clyde Keis near Muncy.

A tip of the hat this week to a real bunch of dough-girls-the women of Zion Lutheran church in Turbotville. For Shrove Tuesday last week, they baked 2,200 dozen doughnuts. By actual count that’s 26,400 doughnuts in one day (not counting what they ate, of course).
Bob (Telephone) Rishel is still trying to explain to his friends that it was just a coincidence that he was called for $80 one day last week on the “Dialing for Dollars” movie giveaway over channel 2 in Scranton. Bob knew the right answer, incidentally, and was named winner of the money.
