Pennsdale to have Public Park as Bussler Restores Old Friends Area
Richard Molyneaux and Wayne Norton, who have operated the Hughesville Cleaners in Hughesville, announced plans this week to build a modern dry cleaning plant just north of Muncy on the Muncy-Williamsport highway.
According to word received here this week, Pfc. Richard M. Allen, of Muncy, is now serving as a rifleman with Company B, Fifth Regiment, First Cavalry Regiment now stationed at Takeyama, Japan.
Miss Charlotte Sealey, of Montgomery, and Harold W. Bennett, of McEwensville, were married Nov. 5.
Miss Joan Gansell, of Picture Rocks, became the bride of Carl Campbell, of Picture Rocks, Nov. 18.
Births: A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Laughner, Picture Rocks, Nov. 19; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Houseknecht are the parents of a son, born on Nov. 20.
Died: Raymond Shick died at his home in Montgomery on Sunday; C. David Egli, 76, Muncy, Nov. 20; W.H. Thompson, 81, Williamsport, Nov. 20; Memorial services for S/Sgt G. Houseknecht, Muncy, killed in action on Dec. 28, 1943, in Northern Italy; Samuel Bartlow, 70, count native died Thursday.

The Pleasant View Wesleyan church was the setting for the wedding on NOv. 14 of Oral Brown, Muncy, to Kenneth Hall, of Northumberland.
Mr. and Mrs. David Green, the former Jorene MCarty of near Muncy, who were married on Nov. 15, will be residing in Germany for the next two years where is is stationed with armed forces.
Parents whose dependent children will have reached their 19th birthdays by Dec. 31, 1969, are reminded by Ralph S. Smith, president, Blue Cross of Northeastern PA, that arrangements should be made how to insure continued coverage for these persons, beginning Jan. 1. 1970.

Receiving the deeds for the 45 acres of land adjacent to Van Rensselaer Park in Picture Rocks is the borough mayor, Elinor Kilcoyne; Rick Sprout, Borough president at the time the project began; Dorothy Sprout Day; and John Sprout. The land is to be used for nature studies and hiking.
