Peeks at the Past
(EDITOR’S NOTE: In the Peeks at the Past, you might occasionally see some word misspellings. Also, the common words included in a name are not capitalized when it’s with the official name. For example, Main street or Lutheran church, instead of Main Street, etc. In checking news from 1952, names of brances of the service were also not capitalized. In addition, married women were identified as Mrs. with the first and last name of their husband’s. The Luminary does not change what has originally been written.)
