John Martz, of Milton, a conductor on the P. & R.R., was severely inured at Halls Station, Friday evening, of last week, by being caught between two cars.
L.U. Herrington, editor of the Williamsport Lycoming Ranger, was placed under $2000 bail on the charge of willfully defaming the character of Mr. U.C. Doane, of that city, and $1000 for maintaining a nuisance.
