Funds for an ambulance
The committee in charge of the raising of funds for the purchase of an ambulance for Muncy Valley will hold a tag day, Saturday October 6, in Muncy, Montgomery, Hughesville and Picture Rocks. Tags will be given to the pupils of the schools in those towns and it is hoped that the proceeds will be enough to complete the amount needed to purchase the equipment. The work on the ambulance has begun and it is partly paid for. Between $400 and $500 are needed to complete the purchase.
