With buyer interest far ahead of expectations, momentum and excitement are building for New Park Village Active Adult Community. The developer is fine-tuning plans with an eye toward maximizing green space and highlighting the beautiful natural vistas

Following strong buyer interest and an overflow grand opening crowd, developers of active adult community Park Village are moving ahead to the project’s next phase with enthusiasm and momentum.

Project sponsor The Park Home is working to fine-tune plans for the 40-acre Poco Farm Road site. The adjustments currently underway will result in more dedicated green space, more walking trails and space for outdoor activities.

“There is great momentum,” board member, Mr. Jeff Sims said, “and we’re moving ahead, making refinements to our site plan so that as much land as possible is devoted to green space. We also intend to blend the homes into the terrain,” he said, “preserving the gorgeous views not only for future residents but for the neighbors who live near the property.”?Park Village recently celebrated its grand opening and drew 300 prospective residents and their family members.

Unique to Lycoming County, Park Village is a maintenance-free independent living community for adults 55+. With a choice of stylish cottage homes or terrace apartments, the community will also offer a clubhouse, fitness center, social opportunities, dining options and other great amenities. Park Village is owned and operated by The Park Home, Inc., an organization with a trusted history of providing housing and care to seniors in the greater Williamsport area.
