Montgomery’s Hunter Budman passed the 1,000 rushing yards during Friday night’s game against Troy finishing with 135-yards in their 31-14 loss on Senior Night at Red Raider Stadium.

Troy overcame 90 yards in penalties with a strong defensive front holding the Red Raiders to just eight first downs and 71 passing yards.

Bloomsburg 35, Hughesville 20

Bloomsburg defeated Hughesville, 35-20. Hughesville scored two touchdowns and recorded a safety in a two-minute span to tie the game heading into halftime. Carter Marquardt had a 19-yard run to cut the deficit to 14-6 after a missed extra point. Jase Wright then had a 13-yard rushing touchdown, but the two-point conversion run failed to make it a 14-12 deficit. Hughesville then had a safety with 9:21 to play in the second quarter to tie it up. Bloomsburg and Hughesville were then tied 20-20 late in the third quarter but Bloomsburg ended the game with 15-unanswered points to win. Marquardt and Wright both led Hughesville with 92 rushing yards as Marquardt had two rushing touchdowns.
