District 4 Class AA Championship

Hughesville’s John Finnegan and Mason Thomas dropped their semi final match after going three sets and were defeated by Central Columbia’s Matt Getz and Adam Lang. Finnegan and Thomas beat Cowanesque Valley’s Cody Peers and Evan Zinck in the first round 6-0, 6-0 and then beat Towanda’s Haven Poll and Ryan O’Connor in the next round 6-1, 6-1. The duo’s toughest match came in the quarterfinals against Galeton’s Micah Batson and Reilly Streich that went back-and-forth including a tough tiebreak. The Spartans won, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4, to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
